Has anyone any information regarding the use of a fuel hydrometer to check fuel quality before filling the tanks?  I saw one made by Kent-Moore, #J34352.

Don't know what you have in mind doing.  But if you use diesel from a source that rotates the fuel through the tanks frequently, like well known truck stops, you won't have any problems, its those little out of the way fuel stations that don't get much action on the diesel or let the fuel level get to low in their tank that usually have the water and or sediment !!!! Last fall I stumbled into this subject on the net and was interested in its use also.  After searching for awhile the DW ordered two from Novatec.  They were for the specific range of Diesel fuel. I wanted to sample the fuel from trucks at the Tampa RV show but Novatec never sent them.  After two months waiting and back ordering I cancelled them.  I am collecting different samples from different sources while on our trip to Montana.  I will get back on the subject after we get settled for the summer.

I do get different fuel millage with different fuel so this may give an indication as to fuel quality?

If you do get one let us know what you find with the results.
Thanks, Vern
