NOTICE - Possible Defective Drag Links on 1998-2005 Volvo VNL's

If your contemplating purchasing a 1998-2005 VNL Volvo we suggest that you check the status of your Drag Link.  The consequences of loosing your Drag Link while trucking down the road with nothing more on your mind other than to see if you or your DW can count the most pinch bugs.

The NHTSA has an Open Case involving possible Drag Link Issues / Failures on some 1998-2005 VNL's that could cause Complete Lose of Steering.

To err on the safe side it is suggest that you have the drag link checked out before purchasing any 998-2005 VNL that your looking to purchase - OR - better yet, have the seller install one of the New Greaseable Drag Links as part of your purchase agreement.
