Getting into an HDT can be a stretch for some.

RickW (Rick)has come up with an interesting solution for those with short legs.

Rick had these steps fabricated and replaced the regular step plete changing the two step climb into the cab to a four step.

badongr55 (Jim)'s truck, with exposed tanks, has an extra step mounted between the standard steps.

Hdonlybob (Bob) added these steps to his Volvo.

Lostinaz (John) made a step addition to make it easier to get into his cab.

From Lostinaz(John): I used 2 inch 6061 aluminum angle 1/4" thick and didn't drill holes in my truck, but bolted brackets through the existing holes in my steps.

The two top brackets I made from 4" angle to set it away from my plastic fairings.

I used 5/16" bolts and used a box end wrench with duct tape to hold the nuts through the step holes.

I added a little extra step on the bottom. I wanted the whole thing to break away in case of impact and not puncture my fuel tank, so I used aluminum. The middle step is 2 pieces of 2 " angle, trimmed and bolted back to back. I bolted a matching KW step on those 2 pieces of angle.
